I wanted to take a bit of time tonight to remind everyone of the importance of security. In the world today it’s increasingly important to keep your personal information safe. If you do not, you may end up the victim of identity theft, you may have funds stolen from your bank account, any number of things you don’t want to happen can be the result of not being serious with your computer’s safety.
I’ve mentioned the importance of security in my walkthrough post, Protect Yourself Online, but I feel it’s a topic that should be mentioned frequently. Phishing emails (emails that try to steal your personal information), or emails with a link that downloads a program onto your computer with keylogger software (a program that copies every key-stroke typed on your keyboard) is very commonly used by hackers attempting to get your passwords. Just by opening a malicious email without proper protection on your computer can infect your computer, so please make sure to be safe instead of sorry and delete any emails that you aren’t expecting, or that aren’t from a source you know (or signed up for).
The program we’re going to talk about tonight, ExoticFX, has very strong security for a high-yield investment program. They have a SSL certificate through Comodo and as you can see above, are hosted on a dedicated DDoS protected server by Dragonara, both standard and trusted services in our industry. This isn’t what sets ExoticFX apart though, its their internal keycode system that is used whenever you make a transaction or change something in your account.
Now, it can be a bit confusing at first, so I’m going to step through a few things for everyone. If you understand the risks involved with HYIPs, and you still decide you want to invest in ExoticFX, the first thing you’ll have to do after setting up an account is link an e-currency so you can invest. To do this you will need a keycode.
When you set up your account you are emailed five (5) keycodes similar to the ones shown above (the above have all been used). These keycodes are one-time use only and are necessary for you to do anything, so don’t lose them (if you do lose them don’t worry, you can resend new ones anytime you like from inside your account). Next, you will want to link an e-currency account to your ExoticFX account. You will see a screen with the following:
I’ve shown a Liberty Reserve (LR) account due to its popularity. Now you’ll put in an Account Name, this can be anything you want. Next you put in your LR account number, then repeat it. Next you enter your ExoticFX Password (not your LR account’s password!), and finally you add one of the keycodes that were emailed to you. And that is how you link your e-currency account.
Overall, the security of ExoticFX is top-notch for a HYIP, so unless your email account becomes compromised, it’s unlikely that you will have security problems with the program.
Now, lets move on at take a look at the program itself. First here are a few of the standard features:
- Deposits are accepted via Alert Pay (AP), Liberty Reserve (LR), Global Digital Pay (GDP) and H-D Money.
- Withdraw requests are processed within 24 hours.
- Minimum deposit is $10.
- No minimum withdraw amount.
ExoticFX has a lot to offer as far as plans go, however their eight (8 ) investment plans are broken up into two (2) major categories, “Daily Return” and “Term Return.” The daily return plans pay, as you may have guessed, daily, where the term plans pay out on expiration of the term.
Lets start off with a look at the first daily plan, the Daily120 plan. The Daily120 offers 1.00% daily for 120 days. The minimum deposit is $10 and there is a maximum deposit of $500. I feel this plan and the next, the Daily140 are the best options ExoticFX offers, so it’s my opinion if you are considering investment into this program, one of these two plans, depending on how much you are planning on investing, would be the option to go with. The Daily140, like the Daily120 pays daily and offers 1.20% daily for 140 days. The minimum deposit is $200 and there is a maximum of $2,000.
The next two daily plans, Daily160 and Daily180 pay 1.45% daily and 2.00% daily respectively. The Daily160 pays out for a 160 day term, the Daily180 for a 180 day term. We start hitting higher minimums, with a $500 for the Daily160 and $1,000 for the Daily180, but with the higher investment comes a higher daily percentage. Like all investments, the higher the risk, the higher the reward.
Speaking of risk, all HYIPs (high-yield investment programs) are extremely risky and if you are considering any sort of investment you must be prepared and know that there is the potential risk of loss of your investment. This potential loss is much higher than in any other investment type I know of, so unless you’re really willing to take a high risk and gamble, I would recommend you avoid investing in any online HYIP.
That being said, ExoticFX’s next plans have a bit higher risk than the first four (4) daily plans. These next plans are Term Plans that pay out interest and principal at the end of the investment term. I’m not a big fan of term plans, due to their risk, so I ‘m only going to briefly touch on these. There are four (4) plans offering 1.0% to 2.3% daily (with a single pay-out occurring at the end of the term). The terms are shorter than the daily plans, with the shortest, the Term2 plan being two weeks, the longest Term8 being eight weeks. So, there is potential to invest and get an increased amount in a short time with your principal back, at the risk of not receiving anything if the program closes before your term expires and you can withdraw your money. Like always, it is your money, so invest however you personally decide.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, I have had a longer-than-normal time to watch and analyze ExoticFX. Having opened to investors in mid-February and being monitored by me for almost a month, I now have a pretty good feel for the program. I have chatted with the support team in their live chat and overall am impressed. They seem knowledgeable and anything they couldn’t help me with immediately I received swift response from the program’s administration. The program seems to have a strong support, and they keep contact with investors with regular newsletters.
Lets take a look at a few tools to get a general idea of the program, starting with their Alexa graph:
Now, the initial spike most programs receive upon start is apparent, a normal indicator of investor interest. We then see a period of relatively slow growth, a trend that has continued throughout the past month. If you were to draw a line from the beginning of March, to where the graph ends, you’ll see there is a slight rise to the average, an indication of growth with the program. Though it is small, this in my opinion, can be more beneficial for a long-term program than immediate exponential growth. With the recent struggles in the HYIP industry (the uneasiness surrounding LR as a leading e-currency in particular), we see no indications of negative impact on ExoticFX, contrary, we see a steady, continued growth.
Taking a look at some of their forum activity further supports a show of apparent stability:
Above, we see steady continued forum activity, not only with steady postings by monitors and investors, but in page views (the bottom graph). Overall, we see a continued steady trend showing continued interest in the program with no apparent negative signals.
As I’ve watched ExoticFX over the past month, I’ve seen an active advertising campaign, that is wide-spread, but at the same time is not apparently straining on the program. They have sought out some of the more well-known sites out there, including MNO, MMG and our partner HYIPNews for reviews and advertising. These industry leaders, as well as Frank’s Private HYIP Blog and myself have been a part of ExoticFX’s advertising campaign. In addition a number of standard HYIP Monitors have been employed by the program.
Overall, all signs point toward a program that has the potential to last and continue as an industry leader. Security and communication are some of the best I’ve personally seen and there seems to be interest shown throughout the industry in the program. As always, remember HYIP programs are very risky, so only invest what you are willing to lose, and do so at your own risk.
I know it’s been a bit quiet around here, but I’ll have a few more updates coming this week and hopefully we’ll see a bit more activity soon. Until next time, keep walking through the world of HYIP investing!

Hi, I feel that the e-currency account setup has been very smartly designed and a few innocent investors might fall in the trap by putting their LR info.
Anyway good to see that you mentioned about it.
Good to see the administration changing “password” to “EFX password”. That impressed me, at least they are listening…
