Good Day Everyone! According to the official news blog of Liberty Reserve, another website maintenance is coming up tomorrow, September the 22nd. Well, I am sure that most people are aware about this payment processor’s very recent, very extensive in time, therefore very devastating downtime, causing a lot of troubles across the market (read more about it HERE). For this reason and in view of these recent events, an announcement like this within such short period of time, is perhaps causing another waive of “goose bumps” among system users. I am quoting current announcement below and as you can see, it is as usually looks quite “innocent”:

September 22, between 06:00 (am) and 9:00 (am)(UTC)

For sure good thing this time around is that users are given advanced notice, so whatever is coming up tomorrow is definitely something Liberty Reserve has scheduled. The thing that I am sure will worry everybody a lot however, is not knowing what is actually happening in reality behind this seemingly routine maintenance, so soon after the “so bad” previous one. The concerns may come from the fact that prior to the recent, week long downtime in August, we saw the exact same “innocent” announcement, which later converted into complete system shut down in the “all planes down” kind of manner, some “software testings” and hundreds of blocked user accounts. I really hope that the upcoming system maintenance will not take more than announced three hours and that there will be no “surprises”.
